Periscope now enables the native integration of a powerful new graphics tool from J2Innovation of Chino, California, USA. This optional tool, (FIN Builder) is named for the “Fluid Integration” it provides the user and is a substantial leap forward over the traditional AX Workbench graphics tools such as PX, HX, etc. The FIN system allows users to create BAS library components easily and use them over and over again. FIN comes standard with a library of built-in components and new components are continually being added to the library.
Periscope has a built-in Wizard to discover, use, archive and recall existing FIN files on the system (similar to the PX Wizard and viewlet) and thus enables the user to natively display these files in the FIN viewlet(s). The FIN Builder toolset is an optional package that may be purchased through Activelogix or other J2Innovation distribution channels.
